1/2 cup onion, sliced
1/4 cup ginger, sliced 3 tbsp garlic, chopped 1 piece dry bay leaf 1/2 tsp whole black pepper 1/2 cup pineapple juice 1/4 cup ketchup 4 tbsp brown sugar 1/4 cup tomato juice 2 tsp cornstarch 1 cup chicken stock
Procedure -
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over high medium heat. Simmer to
reduce for 20 minutes. Add corn starch to adjust consistency. Season with
salt.
